Event Description
Formal Dance. Costumes are Optional. Ages 18 and older.
Proceeds Benefit the "American Childhood Cancer Organization of Utah.
Enjoy a fanciful, magical night out with music, dancing, costume contest, refreshments, games, Glow-in-the-Dark Quidditch, prop photo opportunites, dances with your favorite Potter characters, raffles, and more.
Muggles and Wizards alike are invited to attend.
Formal wear required, costumes are optional.
A word from Professor McGonagall:
'The Yule Ball is approaching – an opportunity for us to socialise with our guests. Now, the ball will be open only to 18 years and above.
'Dress robes will be worn,' Professor McGonagall warns, 'and the ball will start at seven o'clock on December the 13th, finishing at ten o'clock, in the Great Hall of The Education Center of Sandy. Now then –' Professor McGonagall stares deliberately around. 'The Yule Ball is of course a chance for us all to – er – let our hair down,' she states, in a disapproving voice.
'But that does NOT mean,' demands Professor McGonagall, 'that we will be relaxing the standards of behaviour we expect from muggles and wizards alike. I will be most seriously displeased if a Gryffindor embarrasses the ball in any way.'
